On Saturday we went Skiing again. The place we go is about 2 1/2 hours drive away from where we live , so we had an early start. Jonah wanted to try snowboarding this time, and after a morning of frustration achieved some success in the afternoon . Pete also snowboarded. Jemima and Elijah built up their confidence on skis, with Elijah getting up quite a speed with no fear! Jemima is a little more cautious , but relished going further up the mountain and then descending with her Dad! I decided to cut my losses and accept skiing probably isn't for me , and took up my more comfortable role of supporter and photographer.

Final team photos
After we had driven back we spent the evening at a indoor play centre called Tucherland . This was because we were saying goodbye to some American friends who are returning home. I didn't see much of the boys, but managed to capture Jemima.
Few a long energetic day! |
Today Jemima has taken part with some friends from school in a photo shoot, promoting the inclusion of physically handicapped people with able bodied. One of her good friends is disabled. A lot of hanging around for me, extra Nintendo DS time for Elijah and some fun for Jemima. If I ever get to see the results of the advertising campaign I'll let you know!
When we woke up today it was -13 outside , but only -10 when Elijah and I cycled to Kindergarten. It's warmed up to -3 this afternoon!
